Marine Algal Flora of Intertidal Zone at the Ando and Oenarodo on the Eastern Coast of Jeonnam Region, Korea

Abstract

The marine algal flora at Ando and Oenarodo on the eastern coast of Jeonnam, Korea, were investigated monthly during May, August 2021. As the result, a total of 87 species including 14 greens, 15 browns and 58 red was identified. In Ando area (Ando beach, Iyapo), Sargassum fusiforme and Gelidiophycus freshwateri were dominant species in May, Gelidiophycus freshwateri and Bangia fuscopurpurea were dominant in August. In Oenarodo (Narouju beach, Oechori), Ulva australis and Zostera japonica were dominant species in May, Zostera japonica were dominat in August as well as in the spring and Gelidiophycus freshwateri were dominant species in same time.

전남 동부해안 조간대 해조상을 2021년 5월과 8월에 조사하였다. 조사결과 87종의 해조류가 출현하였으며, 분류군별로는 녹조류 14종, 갈조류 15종 그리고 홍조류 58종이었다. 안도지역 조간대 우점종은 5월에 톳(Sargassum fusiforme)과 애기우뭇가사리(Gelidiophycus freshwateri), 8월에는 애기우뭇가사리와 김파래(Bangia fuscopurpurea)가 우점종이었다. 외나로도지역에서는 5월에 구멍갈파래(Ulva australis)와 애기거머리말(Zostera japonica), 8월에는 애기거머리말의 우점적 생육이 더욱 증가하였고 애기우뭇가사리가 우점종으로 나타났다.
